Businesses must change the amount of VAT they charge from 15% to 17.5% on most goods and services from January 1st 2010.
Managing director Peter Green said: “Actually, making the change in the software is very simple. But because there has only been one change in the VAT rate since 1991, a lot of businesses will simply not know how to do it.
